Holy Spirit abides in us and is in us

Lord, pls come and deliver me

From this pain and misery

There seemed to be no way out

From the mess that I am living in

But I ask you to come and intervene

Unscrew the screw-up  that is my life

Ruined by choices that I made

I find no joy where I once rejoiced in 

Come and proclaim freedom in me again

Break the chains that binds me

Cut off thoughts that oppress me

Replace the the scene that replays in my head

Restore what you intended before I went astray

Renew my commitment to serve you endlessly

Restore to me the gifts that you promised
